industrial model is a new, original, capable for
multiple reproduction appearance of a product, which
manifests itself in particular in the shape, features
of outside surface, colours, lines or ornamentation.
An appearance of a product dictated solely by its
technical function shall not constitute an industrial
design.

The industrial design
application should contain a drawing and it may
also comprise photographs or samples of a textile
fabric.
Industrial designs
are registered for 25 years /only formal examination/.
Priority: 6 months
from the first filing or exhibition.
The data/documents necessary
for filing an industrial design are as follows:
- name and address of the applicant,
- the name/-s/ and address /-es/
of the author/-s/.
- title of the utility model,
- drawing /-s/ - obligatory
- description of the utility model
/not necessary/,
- additional illustrative material
/photographs, samples/
- Power of Attorney document, executed
by the authorised representative of the Applicant,
given with the name, surname /and position,
if assigned/
- indication of the right of an
Applicant for obtaining a patent /if different
than Inventor/.
- assignment, if the Applicant
is not an author,
- Priority Document /if a priority
is to be claimed/
- a statement of the Applicant
referring the priority /-ies/ to the particular
claims,
- a statement of the Applicant
referring the priority /-ies/ to the particular
claims,
- the statement of an Applicant,
confirming his right to a priority, if a priority
document is issued for the other person,
